When I had to give up driving and later no longer had access to a lift home after rehearsals, Vince would quietly offer me a lift and insisted on going more than the extra mile past his own home, to ensure I reached mine safely. Through our conversations on those journeys, I learned just how concerned for others, hard-working and self-effacing a Christian man Vince was and had always been.
